Plant Controller

Join a high-growth food manufacturing business with advanced processing capabilities. As Plant Controller, you’ll be the financial leader at the plant, driving cost visibility, process efficiency, and operational performance in partnership with the leadership team.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary financial business partner to plant and corporate teams.
• Prepare and analyze financial reports to identify cost drivers and performance trends.
• Lead annual and quarterly budgeting for labor, overhead, product costing, and inventory.
• Drive process improvements and develop operational KPIs for visibility and accountability.
• Oversee capital expenditure requests, project tracking, and spending analysis.
• Partner with supply chain and warehousing to improve inventory management and accuracy.
• Participate in ERP implementation, ensuring data integrity and actionable reporting.
• Support month-end close, compliance, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Contribute to leadership meetings and plant strategy discussions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 years of plant accounting or controller experience, ideally in food manufacturing or CPG.
• Strong cost accounting and ERP experience.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Proven ability to influence at all organizational levels and drive cross-functional collaboration.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying process opportunities.
• Experience on a plant leadership team preferred.
