Operations Manager

3L Logistics Inc., in Cedar Rapids, IA, is seeking an Operations Manager to join our growing team (250 employees)! We are a contracted service provider for FedEx Ground, with 9 locations across Iowa, Missouri, Illinois, and Tennessee! Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, reliable, and hard-working.

Responsibilities of Operations Manager:

• Holding team accountable for their performance; provide coaching and counseling as needed
• Delegating tasks and projects and providing follow-up action
• Ensuring business quality standards are met
• Developing and implementing best practices to maximize team efficiency
• Route planning and management
• Assisting with the hiring process - interviewing candidates, onboarding, offboarding as needed
• Assist in delivering packages as needed

Qualifications of Operations Manager:

• Experience working as a manager or in a leadership role
• Previous experience within FedEx is preferred but not required
• Ability to listen and communicate effectively with team members and management
• High attention to detail with exceptional organizational skills
• Strong time-management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize
• Must be mechanically inclined for basic truck needs.
• Able to deliver packages efficiently

Requirements

• Must be age 21
• Safe driving record
• Valid Driver's License
• Must be able to pass a state and federal background check.
• Must be able to pass a DOT drug test.
• Must be able to obtain a DOT Medical Card.
• Previous FedEx and/or Management experience preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
