This position plays a key role in ensuring freight, equipment, and materials are handled safely, efficiently, and accurately throughout daily operations. Key Responsibilities:
- Load, unload, and transport freight, materials, and equipment between trucks, trailers, and designated storage areas
- Organize, stack, and position cargo efficiently to support smooth operations and safe handling
- Properly secure shipments to minimize the risk of damage during transit
- Inspect incoming and outgoing freight for accuracy and report missing items or visible damage
- Support drivers, warehouse personnel, and team members with loading, unloading, and general material handling duties
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
- Follow company procedures, operational guidelines, and all workplace safety requirements
Qualifications:
- Ability to safely lift, carry, and move items weighing 50–75 lbs
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to completing tasks accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively as part of a team
- Comfortable working in outdoor environments and changing weather conditions
- Prior experience in warehouse, freight, logistics, or physical labor roles is preferred but not required
