This paid position is perfect for motivated individuals eager to develop their warehouse management skills and contribute to a thriving supply chain.ResponsibilitiesAssist with order picking and packing using RF scanners and order picker equipment to ensure accurate fulfillment.Load and unload shipments efficiently using pallet jacks, reach trucks, and forklifts while adhering to safety protocols.Manage inventory updates within warehouse management systems (WMS) and AS400 platforms to maintain precise stock records.Support shipping & receiving activities by verifying incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring proper documentation.Stock shelves, organize inventory, and perform regular stock checks to optimize warehouse space.Utilize basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during order fulfillment.Operate warehouse equipment such as MRPs (Material Requirements Planning systems), loaders, and forklifts to streamline distribution processes.ExperiencePrior warehouse experience or familiarity with warehouse distribution environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided.Hands-on experience with forklift operation, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable.Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS), RF scanners, AS400, or similar inventory software is advantageous.Experience in e-commerce order picking, packing, and shipping processes will help you excel in this role.Basic math proficiency for inventory counts, measurements, and calculations essential for accuracy in order fulfillment.Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures during load & unload activities.
