Job description:HR Administrative AssistantLocation: Montebello, CADepartment: Human ResourcesReports To: HR ManagerSchedule: Full-Time (8:30am - 5pm)Experience: 1–2 YearsJob SummaryWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented HR Administrative Assistant to support daily Human Resources operations. This role involves recruitment support, onboarding, recordkeeping, employee communication, and compliance tasks. The ideal candidate has strong administrative skills and experience working in a manufacturing or industrial environment.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide daily administrative support to the HR department, including filing, data entry, document preparation, and record maintenance.Maintain confidential employee files in both physical and HRIS systems.Assist with hourly recruiting: posting job ads, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating pre-employment screenings.Prepare new hire paperwork and support onboarding, orientation, and first-day employee setup.Assist with payroll data entry and timekeeping corrections when needed.Support HR compliance efforts by ensuring proper documentation of disciplinary actions, policy acknowledgments, and safety training.Help organize employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and internal HR communications.Respond to general employee questions regarding policies, procedures, benefits, and HR processes.Assist with workers’ compensation reporting, incident documentation, and return-to-work coordination.Maintain visibility on the production floor and act as a liaison between HR and operations.Support safety programs by tracking certifications, training, and incident reports.Qualifications1–2 years of administrative or HR experience (manufacturing/industrial setting preferred).Strong organizational and communication skills.Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic HRIS systems.Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus but not required.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:Health insurancePaid time offReferral programVision insurance
