Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our healthcare team. This role involves working in the patients home to ensure optimal health outcomes.
Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on clinical findings.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any significant changes to the healthcare team.
- Provide education and support to patients and their families regarding health management and treatment options.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and adhere to NCQA standards.
- Assist in procedures such as IV insertion, catheterization, suturing, and wound care as needed.
Skills
The successful candidate should have experience or proficiency in the following areas:
- Medical office experience with knowledge of ICD-9/ICD-10 coding
- Knowledge of home health care practices
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, physiology knowledge, and infection control practices
- Experience with Spastic Quadriplegia- Cerebral Palsy
