We are working with an exciting organization that is looking to bring on a Lead Mobile Application Developer.Their system comprises robust hardware devices, mobile apps, and cloud apps that utilize the latest Bluetooth Low Energy technology, advanced encryption algorithms, and cloud technologies.
As a Lead Mobile Application Developer, you will be accountable for leading a software development team in the definition, implementation, and delivery of their flagship IoT, cloud, and premised-based mobile software products. You will be responsible for the definition, design, implementation, and support of the new and existing features and functions and managing the process for this in conjunction with other senior technical staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Verifying that team is adhering to company software development standards and practices.
- Ensuring that the quality standards and productivity needs of the company are met.
- Designing, developing, delivering, and supporting new and existing software features and functions.
- Coordinating with other senior team members and technical staff to analyze customer problems and provide timely solutions.
- Assisting in triage functions for problem escalations from support groups.
- Mentoring junior team members and champions software development best practices
Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in a senior or lead technical role developing commercial software applications.
- Minimum 4 years of hybrid mobile app development, design, and/or architecture experience on Android and/or iOS.
- Experience with mobile Bluetooth communications and location services.
- Experience with UI/UX design.
- Experience with Angular/AngularJS.
- Typescript and JavaScript experience.
- Familiarity with web frontend techniques (HTML, CSS/SASS).
- Knowledge of consuming HTTP-based APIs/RESTful JSON APIs.
- Experience with Agile development processes.
- Experience with git, GitHub, and JIRA.
- Demonstrated leadership driving process improvement, pushing quality upstream, and understanding of technical methodologies.
- Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Desired Experience:
- Knowledge of iOS or Android native development.
- Ionic or React Native development experience.
- Knowledge of communication protocols
