Job Summary:
We are seeking a polished, knowledgeable, and hospitality-focused server to join our front-of-house team. As an Upscale Server you will deliver impeccable service, guide guests through our curated menu and extensive wine selection, and ensure a seamless, dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Exceptional Guest Experience:
- Greet guests warmly and professionally, using name recognition when possible.
- Provide attentive yet unobtrusive service, anticipating guest needs before they arise.
- Guide guests through the menu, wine list, and daily specials with confidence and expertise.
- Ensure flawless table etiquette—serve from the right, clear from the left, and never interrupt conversations.
- Personalize each dining experience, remembering regular guests’ preferences and VIP details.
Menu & Beverage Expertise:
- Master the entire food and beverage menu, including ingredients, preparation methods, and potential allergens.
- Offer expert wine, cocktail, and spirit pairings to enhance the guest experience.
- Communicate with the kitchen and bar to accommodate guest requests and dietary needs.
Flawless Service Execution:
- Ensure proper pacing of courses, coordinating with the kitchen and support staff.
- Maintain spotless table settings, polished glassware, and neatly arranged linens.
- Discreetly pre-bus tables, ensuring a clean and refined environment at all times.
- Manage large parties and special occasions with seamless coordination.
Professionalism & Teamwork:
- Uphold strict grooming and uniform standards, maintaining a polished and professional appearance.
- Engage in pre-shift meetings to discuss menu updates, daily specials, and VIP guests.
- Work collaboratively with fellow servers, bartenders, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service.
- Follow all health, safety, and restaurant regulations to maintain the highest standards.
Qualifications:
✅ 2 years of fine dining experience in a high-end restaurant or hospitality setting.
✅ Deep knowledge of food, wine, and beverage pairings.
