Job Overview:
The Busser plays a crucial role in ensuring smooth restaurant operations by maintaining cleanliness, resetting tables efficiently, and assisting servers in providing an exceptional dining experience. In an upscale dining setting, the Busser must be detail-oriented, professional, and work seamlessly with the front-of-house team.
Responsibilities:
- Table Maintenance: Clear and reset tables promptly and neatly, ensuring all settings are properly arranged with polished glassware, silverware, and linens.
- Guest Experience: Provide attentive and discreet service, assisting in water refills, bread service, and responding to guest requests as needed.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a clean dining area, including floors, service stations, and restrooms, ensuring an elegant and welcoming ambiance.
- Support to Servers & Bartenders: Assist in delivering food to tables, replenishing items, and ensuring a seamless service flow.
- Stock & Setup: Replenish stations with necessary items such as napkins, condiments, glassware, and silverware.
- Teamwork: Work efficiently with hosts, servers, and kitchen staff to maintain a high level of service.
- Compliance: Follow health and safety regulations, including proper sanitation procedures.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Previous experience in a fine dining or high-volume restaurant preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
