Field Engineer

We have an immediate opportunity for a Field Engineer near the Modesto area. This individual will assist with ensuring that the utility construction project activities comply with company and contract requirements and supports the overall project schedule by providing technical support including planning, execution, quality control, and closeout of construction projects. 

Responsibilities:

• Pre-Construction: Job Set Ups, Pictures, Material Inventory
• Construction: Track Field Activities, Schedules, Maintenance of Mobile-As-Built documents
• Post Construction: Submittal of Mobile-As-Built documents, Pictures, Job Closures
• Quality Control of job packets.
• Confirmation of time sheets.
• Communicating to the Construction Manager/Project Manager the overall project performance and assist in identifying potential stakeholder conflicts and project risks.
• Responsible for the overall project schedule by providing technical support for construction, including participation in planning, execution, quality control, and completion of the work.
• Communicating project risks to the Project Manager as they arise and assisting in the development of appropriate risk mitigation steps.
• This role contributes to the management of overall project performance.
• Upholds company’s safety and quality management protocols.

Required Skills:

• Exposure to construction or utility industry
• Intermediate working knowledge in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Must have problem-solving skills, time management and prioritization skills required
• Teamwork

Minimum Education & Experience Required:

• Bachelor’s in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering, or Business
• 1 year plus of relevant experience working in a Construction, Project Management, or Engineering industry
