What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Worker position at 323 Staffing Solutions?
323 Staffing Solutions is partnering with a global structural fabrication company to hire automotive production workers in Elizabethtown, KY. Factory associates will work a Monday to Friday schedule.
This position starts at $16/HR and increases to $21/HR after the temp-to-hire period. The production environment involves operating metal stamping machines and robotic assembly machines.
Shift Schedule (must be willing to work any shift):
1st Shift (6AM-2:30PM or 6:30AM-3:00PM)
2nd Shift (2PM-10:30PM or 2:30PM-11PM)
3rd Shift (10PM-6:30AM or 10:30PM-7AM)
Duties and Responsibilities:
- operate metal stamping machines
- assist with robotic welding
- ensure the highest level of product quality
- maintain a clean and organized work area
- follow all established safety procedures and protocols
- work up to 12 hours/day
Requirements:
- must be able to constantly maneuver items/parts that weigh up to 15-30 pounds repetitively during the shift
- must have HS Diploma/GED (must present proof)
- must have at least two years of automotive manufacturing or related experience (warehouse, factory, ect)
- must be able to stand on feet for entire duration of shift
- must wear steel toed footwear and other PPE at all times
- must be able to work overtime as needed
- must be fluent in English (oral and written)
- no felony convictions in the last three years
- no history of sexual/violent crime; applicants with 4th degree assault(s) may be considered if issue is more than one year in the past
- must be able to pass a drug screening
