Job Description
As a Laundry Attendant, you would be responsible for cleaning and maintaining all Linens of the hotel.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES
- Treat stains and perform spot cleaning as needed.
- Maintain organized linen storage areas, ensuring proper labeling and stock rotation.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and report shortages or damage.
- Inspect all linens for cleanliness and damage
- Operate laundry equipment safely and follow company and OSHA standards for cleaning supplies and procedures.
- Keep laundry and linen areas clean, sanitary, and compliant with company policies.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
- Collaborative attitude.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Strong knowledge of state and federal laws and regulations related to food, safety and sanitation.
- Ability to work proactively and independently while fostering a workplace based on teamwork.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of standing, walking, squatting and lifting extended periods of time. Ability to read, to answer phones, to write emails and other correspondence.
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of cleaning equipment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to work irregular hours, nights, weekends, and holidays.
