Restaurant Host

The Restaurant Host is responsible for welcoming guests, managing reservations, organizing seating arrangements, and creating a positive first impression of the restaurant. The Host ensures guests are greeted professionally, seated efficiently, and provided with excellent customer service while coordinating with servers, bussers, and restaurant management to maintain smooth dining room operations.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous hosting, customer service, or hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
• Friendly, welcoming, and professional demeanor.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to remain calm and courteous in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with reservation or POS systems preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Reports To: Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or Front-of-House Manager.
