Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Construction Foreman to lead our field crews. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in site development, grading, and underground utility installation, with the ability to manage projects, coordinate teams, and ensure work is completed on time and to specification.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of construction crews on-site.
- Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.
- Oversee grading operations and underground utility installations (water, sewer, storm).
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Schedule materials, equipment, and manpower efficiently.
- Communicate with project managers, subcontractors, and inspectors.
- Monitor job progress and maintain project timelines.
- Train and mentor crew members.
Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum 3–5 years of experience as a Foreman in site work or civil construction.
- Technical Skills: Strong knowledge of grading, excavation, and underground utilities.
- Equipment: Ability to operate or oversee the operation of heavy equipment.
- Leadership: Proven leadership and team management skills.
- Plans: Ability to read construction drawings and grade stakes.
- License: Valid driver’s license (CDL is a plus).
- Communication: Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
