The Plumbing Service Manager oversees daily operations of the plumbing service department, ensuring high-quality work, excellent customer service, and efficient team management. This role involves supervising service technicians, managing schedules, ensuring compliance with codes and safety standards, and driving the department’s profitability and growth by monitor budgets, expenses, and overall profitability.
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or vocational training in plumbing preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of plumbing experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Valid plumbing license (as required by state or local regulations).
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency with service management software and scheduling tools.
- Knowledge of plumbing codes, safety standards, and best practices.
- Ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand, and move for extended periods.
- Work may involve visiting job sites and interacting with field personnel.
