Contract Opportunity | Approx. 4–5 Months
A highly established private investment and family office on the Peninsula is seeking a sharp, detail-oriented accounting professional to join their team during a major year-end close and reconciliation project. This is a rare opportunity to gain hands-on exposure to trust and investment accounting within a stable, sophisticated, and collaborative environment.
The firm manages a large portfolio of trust entities tied to investments, brokerage accounts, and distributions. They recently implemented a new accounting platform and are looking for someone who can step in quickly, handle volume efficiently, and help support a critical close process.
What You’ll Be Doing:
• High-volume bank reconciliations
• Brokerage account reconciliations
• Supporting month-end and year-end close across 50–60 entities monthly
• Reviewing investment activity, interest income, and unrealized gains/losses
• Working with brokerage statements and accounting data feeds
• Ensuring transactions are coded accurately and reconciled properly
• Supporting trust accounting operations tied to investments and beneficiary distributions
