helps seniors and people with disabilities stay safe and independent at home. We install ramps, grab bars, stairlifts, ADA bathrooms, and more, and we'll train you to do it.

The

role is an entry-level field technician position. You'll start with basic installs and assisting more experienced technicians, then grow your skills through hands-on training and internal workshops.

Responsibilities

• Perform simple installs independently, such as: grab bars, handrails, toilet risers, small ramps and threshold ramps

• Assist senior installers with loading/unloading materials, transporting tools and equipment and preparing and cleaning up job sites

• Learn to install entry-level accessibility products, including grab bars and handheld showerheads, and small ramps and basic safety equipment

• Attend internal safety briefings, product training, and workshops.

• Support technicians during walkthroughs and client interactions.

• Help with measurements, site documentation, and photos.

• Safely operate hand and power tools and keep them in good condition.

• Represent 3 Birds Accessibility professionally in customers' homes.

• Follow all safety standards and ensure job sites are clean and organized.

• Assist the Lead or senior HAS on any job as needed.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction, maintenance, home modification, or home remodeling is a plus, but not required

• Willingness to learn a skilled trade is essential

• Basic understanding of hand tools, levels & measuring equipment, fasteners and basic construction concepts

• Strong communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift heavy equipment and perform physical labor

• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

• Must pass all 3 Birds Accessibility background checks upon a conditional job offer (criminal, MVR, and sex offender registry)

• Respectful, kind, and comfortable working in the homes of seniors and people with disabilities

Compensation

• Full-time, W-2 Employment.

• Pay:

  Begins at

  $23/hour

  , with a planned review at 90 days. Strong performance at that time can move you up to

  $25/hour

  .
