What We’re Looking For:
The Manager, Revenue Strategy & Analytics is responsible for building and managing the marketing analytics and measurement framework for the edX business unit. This role ensures accurate tracking across the learner acquisition funnel and delivers insights that inform marketing strategy, channel investment, and learner growth.
Working closely with marketing, enrollment, and leadership teams, this role translates complex data into actionable recommendations while helping establish scalable analytics practices as edX expands its in-house analytics capabilities.
Responsibilities Include, But Are Not Limited To:
Marketing Funnel & Acquisition Analytics
- Build and maintain tracking frameworks across inbound marketing channels including organic, paid, email, social, and referral.
- Monitor performance across the learner funnel from initial visit through enrollment and completion.
- Identify conversion gaps and provide recommendations to improve acquisition efficiency and learner quality.
Paid Media & Campaign Performance
- Analyze campaign performance across paid marketing channels including Google, Meta, LinkedIn, and programmatic platforms.
- Track metrics such as cost per lead, cost per enrollment, and return on ad spend.
- Provide insights and recommendations to improve campaign performance and marketing investment decisions.
SEO & Content Analytics
- Monitor organic search performance including keyword rankings, traffic trends, and course page engagement.
- Analyze which courses, landing pages, and marketing content drive learner demand and enrollment.
- Partner with marketing teams to improve content performance and discoverability.
Attribution & Marketing Measurement
- Support the development and maintenance of marketing attribution models.
- Ensure consistent tracking through UTM governance, GA4 configuration, and data validation.
- Contribute to first-party data strategies and identity resolution across marketing touchpoints.
Reporting, Dashboards & Data Visualization
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools using Tableau or similar BI platforms.
- Deliver clear and actionable reporting for marketing teams and senior leadership.
- Enable self-service reporting that helps stakeholders monitor performance independently.
Strategic Insights & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Analyze learner cohorts, retention trends, and channel performance to inform marketing strategy.
- Support enrollment forecasting and performance pacing analysis.
- Partner with marketing, enrollment, and operations teams to translate analytics into actionable business insights.
Things That Should Be In Your Background:
- Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field such as Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Information Systems, or similar preferred.
- 5 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, or business intelligence.
- Advanced experience with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and marketing measurement.
- Strong SQL skills for querying large datasets (BigQuery, Snowflake, or Redshift preferred).
- Experience building dashboards in Tableau or similar BI tools.
- Familiarity with paid media platforms such as Google Ads, Meta Ads Manager, and LinkedIn Campaign Manager.
- Experience working with CRM platforms such as Salesforce.
- Strong communication skills and experience presenting insights to senior stakeholders.

The anticipated base salary range for this role is ($100,000.00 - 112,000.00), with potential bonus eligibility. Salary offers are made based on the candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and education as they directly relate to the requirements of the position, budget for the position and cost of labor in the market in which the candidate will be hired.
