Role Description The Vice President of Business Development is a full-time, remote role. This role is responsible for leading new business initiatives, identifying and qualifying prospective clients, and building a strong pipeline of opportunities for the agency. Day-to-day tasks include developing and executing business development strategies, leading sales presentations, managing key accounts, and negotiating contracts that align with agency goals and client needs. The Vice President of Business Development will collaborate with leadership and creative teams to shape proposals, refine service offerings, and ensure that client relationships are nurtured and expanded over time. This role also involves tracking performance metrics, forecasting revenue, and continuously refining business plans to support sustainable growth.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in New Business Development and Sales to drive agency growth and revenue.
- Strong skills in Business Planning, including forecasting, pipeline management, and strategic planning.
- Proven ability in Contract Negotiation to structure favorable agreements and protect agency interests.
- Experience in Account Management, with a focus on building long-term client relationships and cross-selling services.
- Background in marketing, advertising, or creative agencies, with an understanding of branding, digital, and integrated campaigns.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence senior-level stakeholders.
- Leadership experience, including mentoring teams, collaborating with cross-functional partners, and contributing to executive-level decisions.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field; advanced degree is a plus.
