Key Responsibilities
- Assist the Controller with data entry and a variety of day-to-day accounting and administrative tasks.
- Process invoices and support accounts payable functions while ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
- Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation.
- Handle confidential financial information with professionalism and discretion.
- Assist with account reconciliations and month-end close activities.
- Support accounting projects and other administrative duties as assigned.
- Prepare and analyze AP aging reports, cash requirement forecasts, and spend analysis for management
- Support annual audits by providing documentation, reconciliations, and responses to auditor requests
- Maintain compliance with GAAP, company accounting policies, and internal controls.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with departments throughout the organization to support business operations and resolve accounting questions.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.
- 2-3 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably within a mid-size or large organization.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel.
- Experience working with an ERP system, preferably NetSuite
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with the highest level of discretion.
- Experience working in the golf industry and a passion for the game of golf is strongly preferred.
