Job Summary
As a Caregiver, you’ll provide compassionate, non-medical, in-home care that helps clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes. Care is provided one-on-one and guided by an individualized service plan, with training and ongoing support provided by the agency.
What You’ll Do
- Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding (as appropriate)
- Provide companionship and emotional support
- Assist with mobility, transfers, and safety supervision
- Light housekeeping, laundry, and meal preparation
- Run errands and accompany clients to appointments as outlined in the care plan
- Provide exercise and medication reminders only
- Offer in-home respite care for families
- Observe and report changes in client condition or home safety
- Complete required documentation, including time in and out
All care is non-medical and provided within agency guidelines.
What We’re Looking For
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to follow written care plans and verbal instructions
- Physical ability to safely assist clients
- Compassionate, reliable, and professional attitude
- Prior caregiving experience preferred but not required
- Willingness to complete paid training and competency validation
- Additional languages are a plus
- Reliable transportation preferred (mileage reimbursed when applicable)
No CNA required — we will train the right people.
