Reporting to our President, our Sales Manager is responsible for leading the strategic direction of our sales team by ensuring the alignment to the overall goals of the business.
What You’ll do
  • Define strategic sales goals and implement to maximize market share and sales growth
  • Creation and implementation of sales tools, communication, and training
  • Manages all sales and sales activity across the company
  • Develop relationships with key customers and accounts
  • Research and recommend new products and product lines based upon business need
  • Focus on increasing market awareness to contribute to product sales and growth of our customers
  • Partner with Leaders to create product and support action plans to ensure business impact
  • Drive increased communication and collaboration between Sales team and other departments
  • Foster cross-functional relationships and alignment between sales, operations, product management, marketing, and engineering
  • Direct sales forecasting activity and sets performance goals for team and overall company
  • Evaluate team through performance reviews and defines goals and training plan
  • Monitor competitor product, sales, and marketing activities
  • Utilize company reporting tools to gain understanding and create metrics for team and customers
  • Participate in Senior Leadership meetings contributing topics, suggestions, and direction when relevant
  • Pre-planned travel is required
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned
What We’re Looking for
  • Bachelors Degree in related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • 7 years of work experience in a selling role, ideally in distribution or industry related field.
  • HVAC field concept knowledge or industry experience
  • Proven experience leading a sales team while promoting alignment with company culture and upholding integrity as both a leader and team member.
  • Deep knowledge of the HVAC industry sales processes and methodology
  • Understands trends across the business and functions
  • Proven leadership with the ability to influence others
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Cross-functional leadership skills, with the ability to make critical decisions and influence
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
  • Business owner mentality, willingness to roll up your sleeves and do whatever is necessary
  • Team player with a positive, collaborative work ethic
  • Experience mentoring, coaching, developing and inspiring people and teams
  • Strong organizational and presentation skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook required

The pay scale for this position is $120,200 - $204,400. Please note all pay ranges are broadly stated and any final offer is dependent on factors such as location, direct experience, market guidance and internal equity, among other qualifying criteria.
