Seeking a Civil Design Engineer to support the design and delivery of land development projects. This position offers the opportunity to work on site development initiatives involving grading, drainage, utility infrastructure, and roadway improvements while collaborating with experienced engineering professionals.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare engineering plans, calculations, and construction documents for land development projects.
- Design site grading, drainage systems, utility improvements, and roadway infrastructure.
- Assist with project planning efforts, including schedules, budgets, and technical coordination.
- Evaluate project requirements and develop practical engineering solutions.
- Review design work for technical accuracy and completeness prior to project submittal.
- Utilize engineering and drafting software to produce project deliverables.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited institution.
Preferred Credentials
- Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred.
- Interest in obtaining Professional Engineer (PE) licensure is highly valued.
Experience
- 2 to 5 years of civil engineering experience focused on land development projects.
- Experience with engineering design and drafting software.
Core Competencies
- Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and design practices.
- Ability to prepare technical drawings, calculations, and construction documents.
- Proficiency with CADD and other engineering software platforms.
