An established, classic women’s apparel brand is seeking a Designer to support collection development. The role is fully onsite in a highly collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop seasonal collections aligned with a classic, print-driven brand aesthetic
- Create original concepts, sketches, and color stories with a strong focus on prints and patterns
- Execute hand sketches and translate ideas into production-ready designs
- Own and manage tech packs using Excel, ensuring accuracy and clarity for production
- Collaborate closely with head designer, production team, and in-house fittings team
- Support fittings and make design adjustments as needed
- Maintain brand consistency across all designs and categories
- Approximately 5 years of experience in women’s apparel design
- Strong understanding of classic American sportswear brands and aesthetics
- Experience working with print-driven collections
- Proficiency in hand sketching and design development
- Experience creating and managing tech packs (Excel-based)
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Stable work history preferred
