Job Title: Wholesale Operations Coordinator
Location: Vernon, CA (Hybrid – 3 days onsite preferred, flexible)
Duration: 6 months with potential to extend
Schedule: 30–40 hours/week
Pay Rate: up to $28/hour
About the Role:
Our client, a growing apparel brand, is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Wholesale Operations Coordinator to join their team. This role is critical in supporting wholesale operations and acts as a key liaison between merchandising, supply chain, and sales teams to ensure the right product is available to meet customer demand. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with data and reporting tools, and can manage multiple priorities efficiently. Prior wholesale experience and familiarity with industry tools is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate logistics for over 100 specialty and major accounts to charge and ship purchase orders (POs) accurately and efficiently
- Maintain weekly reporting on wholesale sales, inventory, and account health
- Communicate delays, shortages, and all other product updates across departments
- Plan and enter all wholesale units to the production team in a timely and accurate manner
- Collaborate with warehouse and factory teams to resolve issues and arrange all necessary shipping documents
- Monitor inbound product flow and communicate any issues to sales and merchandising teams
- Partner with Sales and Finance teams to support revenue tracking, performance monitoring, and account reconciliations
- Troubleshoot data-related issues to drive process improvements
- Resolve chargebacks and other inquiries from major wholesale accounts
Programs and Tools:
- ERP Systems: NetSuite, JD Edwards, Oracle are a plus!
- EDI Platforms: SPS Commerce, Joor are a plus!
- Microsoft Office Suite & Google Workspace (advanced Excel including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formulas)
- Data tracking and reporting tools for inventory, sales, and account performance
Qualifications:
- Preferably based in Los Angeles, CA
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and project management skills
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities
- Prior experience in wholesale operations, merchandising, or inventory planning preferred
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
