Head of Operations
**ONSITE - 5 days in San Fernando Valley**
We are partnering with a fast-growing fitness and lifestyle brand to hire a strategic, hands-on Head of Operations. This is a highly visible leadership role with the opportunity to build and scale the operational foundation supporting ecommerce, retail, international growth, and future wholesale expansion.
The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in supply chain, fulfillment, logistics, and distribution-center operations within a high-growth consumer, retail, or apparel environment. This leader will partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to improve performance, strengthen infrastructure, and drive scalable growth.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the operational strategy across supply chain, inventory, fulfillment, logistics, and distribution.
- Drive the launch and expansion of a new Dallas distribution center, including operational readiness, team buildout, and transition planning.
- Optimize domestic and international distribution networks, including both owned facilities and 3PL partners.
- Build scalable inventory planning, reporting, KPI, and governance processes.
- Improve fulfillment speed, inventory accuracy, service levels, and cost efficiency.
- Lead transportation strategy, including carrier management, freight, reverse logistics, and last-mile delivery.
- Support international operations across Australia, Europe, Mexico, and future markets.
- Partner with Product, Merchandising, Ecommerce, Retail, Finance, Technology, and Marketing to ensure operational alignment around launches, demand, and growth initiatives.
- Evaluate operational investments, vendor partnerships, and new technologies to improve profitability and scalability.
What We’re Looking For
- 10 years of progressive operations leadership experience within ecommerce, retail, consumer products, or omnichannel businesses.
- Strong background in multi-site distribution, fulfillment, warehouse operations, and 3PL management.
- Experience opening, scaling, or consolidating distribution centers.
- Deep expertise in domestic and international logistics, inventory planning, and supply chain optimization.
- Strong financial and commercial acumen, including operational budgeting, cost management, and ROI analysis.
- Demonstrated experience leading complex, cross-functional initiatives in a high-growth environment.
- Experience within apparel, fashion, fitness, athletic, or lifestyle brands is strongly preferred.
Salary : $200,000 - $240,000
