We are partnering with an innovative consumer brand to identify an experienced marketing leader to oversee global promotional strategy, gifting, merchandising, and select cross-functional special projects. This is a highly visible leadership opportunity for someone who can connect brand vision with commercial execution and deliver programs that drive customer acquisition, engagement, and growth.
In this role, you will lead the strategy and execution of promotional and gifting initiatives across the business, shaping programs that elevate brand presence and create meaningful consumer impact. You will be responsible for building a forward-looking roadmap, bringing new ideas to market, and ensuring campaigns and merchandise initiatives support both brand objectives and revenue goals.
This position reports into senior global product marketing leadership and manages a small team. Key Responsibilities
Define and lead the global strategy for promotions, gifting, sampling, limited-edition programs, and gift-with-purchase initiatives
- Create and execute marketing programs that strengthen consumer engagement, support acquisition, and drive sales performance
- Partner closely with internal cross-functional teams to bring promotional concepts to life, from planning and briefing through launch and optimization
- Evaluate campaign and promotion performance, using data and insights to refine future initiatives and improve results
- Develop merchandise plans across a broad range of brand needs, including sellable items, launch support materials, and influencer or event-related goods
- Collaborate with vendors, agencies, and external partners to source and develop innovative merchandise solutions aligned with brand goals and consumer trends.
- Work with internal stakeholders to identify new opportunities for product collaborations, limited-run concepts, and culturally relevant merchandise initiatives.
- Use market intelligence, competitive trends, and consumer insights to inform assortment planning and identify opportunities for category growth.
- Lead additional strategic initiatives, including special projects tied to sampling and product assortment review.
- Manage, coach, and develop a high-performing team, fostering strong collaboration, accountability, and innovation.
Qualifications - Must Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field required; advanced degree preferred
- 10–15 years of experience in promotions, merchandising, product marketing, or a related function within beauty, consumer products, or a similar industry.
- Demonstrated success building and executing strategic promotional, gifting, and merchandising programs that contribute to business growth.
- Strong commercial and analytical mindset, with the ability to translate insights and performance data into action
- Proven ability to work effectively across departments and influence a wide range of stakeholders.
- Experience leading and developing teams in a fast-paced, brand-driven environment.
- Background in fashion or adjacent consumer lifestyle categories is a plus.

Salary : $180,000 - $225,000
