3M is seeking a Freelance MKT eBusiness Specialist III to lead ecommerce content execution for a consumer brand portfolio across key retail partners. This role is ideal for a digitally savvy marketing professional who can combine ecommerce strategy, content excellence, SEO thinking, and cross-functional collaboration to create compelling digital shopping experiences that improve discoverability, brand presence, and sales performance.
In this position, you will own and drive the development of ecommerce content including product titles, bullet points, descriptions, enhanced imagery, and A content. You will work closely with agency partners, internal creative teams, SEO specialists, and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure content is created, approved, and published efficiently and at a high standard. You will also facilitate weekly Content Science working sessions using an agile approach to prioritize work and deliver optimized content for key brands, portfolios, and retailers.
This role will also contribute to building and refining digital shelf playbooks for priority brands, helping 3M strengthen its online retail presence through repeatable best practices and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings a blend of ecommerce marketing experience, analytical thinking, project management capability, and the ability to influence stakeholders across multiple teams.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead creation and optimization of ecommerce content for key retail channels
- Coordinate with agencies, creative teams, and SEO experts to develop digital assets
- Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to review, approve, and publish content
- Run weekly agile working sessions to advance priority ecommerce initiatives
- Build and enhance digital shelf playbooks for priority brands
- Use data and insights to inform SEO strategy, content improvements, and performance iterations
- Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university, completed prior to start
- Minimum two (2) years of combined experience in eCommerce, sales, or digital marketing in a private, public, government, or military environment
- Strong ecommerce marketing experience
- Solid analytical skills with the ability to shape SEO and content strategies
- Experience tracking content performance and applying insights to improve results
- Strong interpersonal and influencing skills across multiple stakeholders
- Ability to operationalize new digital capabilities with cross-functional teams
