We’re seeking a hands-on Art Director to lead creative direction, elevate brand aesthetics, and build cohesive visual identities for a portfolio of established heritage apparel and lifestyle brands.

This is an opportunity for a design-driven creative leader who can balance big-picture brand vision with exceptional execution, from shaping seasonal campaigns to designing across digital, print, ecommerce, and retail.

What You’ll Do

• Define, evolve, and protect distinct visual identities across multiple fashion and lifestyle brands.
• Lead seasonal campaign concepts, photo and video shoots, styling, and creative execution from concept through final delivery.
• Design across digital advertising, paid and organic social, email, ecommerce, print, packaging, and retail.
• Build brand guidelines, creative systems, and scalable design templates that ensure consistency while preserving each brand’s unique point of view.
• Mentor and elevate a team of designers through hands-on collaboration, creative direction, and thoughtful feedback.
• Partner with marketing and executive leadership to translate brand positioning into compelling visual storytelling.

What We’re Looking For

• 7–10 years of progressive design and art direction experience within fashion, apparel, or lifestyle brands.
• A strong portfolio showcasing brand identity development, seasonal campaigns, art direction, and hands-on design execution.
• Experience building brand guidelines and cohesive visual systems from the ground up.
• Proven ability to lead and mentor designers while remaining highly skilled in hands-on creative work.
• Strong typography, layout, color, composition, and photography skills, with experience directing photo and video shoots.
• Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, with familiarity with motion tools and ecommerce platforms.
• A strong eye for design, fashion, art, photography, and culture, with the ability to balance current trends with timeless brand storytelling.

Location: Onsite, five days per week in Honolulu, HI or San Clemente, CA

Type: Full-Time 40 hrs a week, temp to perm
