Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to emergency water damage and flood restoration calls, providing on-site mitigation services with urgency and professionalism
- Conduct thorough assessments of water intrusion, moisture levels, mold growth, and structural integrity using specialized tools and equipment
- Perform water extraction, drying, cleaning, mold remediation, and asbestos abatement procedures following strict safety protocols
- Operate company vehicles and power tools safely to facilitate efficient restoration work in various environments
- Utilize Xactimate software for accurate damage documentation and reporting
- Apply personal protective equipment (PPE) such as respiratory protection and safety gear diligently during all tasks
- Assist with fire restoration projects, including cleaning soot damage and handling hazardous materials with care
- Maintain clear communication with clients, team members, and emergency responders to ensure seamless service delivery
- Follow all safety procedures and industry standards to uphold a safe working environment at all times
Requirements
- Prior experience in the restoration industry or construction is highly preferred; training will be provided for the right candidate
- Certified
- Knowledge of water damage restoration techniques, flood response, mold remediation, asbestos abatement, and fire restoration is advantageous
- Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools, carpet cleaning equipment, and Xactimate software is desirable
- Ability to operate company vehicles responsibly and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Willingness to participate in on-call coverage for after-hours emergencies as needed
- Ability to follow detailed instructions regarding safety procedures such as respiratory protection and PPE use
