Duties/Responsibilities
Verify Student Identity – Confirm identity using valid photo ID; ensure correct test session.
Prepare and Secure Environment – Maintain a quiet, distraction-free setting; test technology; post signage.
Administer Examinations – Follow approved testing scripts; manage start, pause, and end times.
Monitor Activity – Observe testing sessions, report irregularities, and handle issues per protocol.
Protect Materials – Secure passwords, credentials, and test materials; maintain confidentiality.
Document and Report – Record attendance, submit reports, and log incidents or breaches.
Promote Fair Testing – Treat test-takers consistently and professionally; enforce rules impartially.
Schedule and maintain calendar for testing/proctoring services for general in-person testing, SmarterProctoring, VDOT, WorkKeys, etc.
Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: Entry Level
Knowledge:
Institutional and vendor-specific testing policies and procedures.
Test security and confidentiality standards (e.g., VDOT, ACT, ADA).
Basic computer operations, secure browsers, and video monitoring systems.
Skills:
Effective oral and written communication.
Strong organizational and recordkeeping abilities.
Technical troubleshooting and problem-solving in testing environments.
Time management and multitasking under strict procedures
Abilities:
Maintain focus and vigilance during testing sessions.
Exercise sound judgment in handling irregularities or emergencies.
Interact respectfully and fairly with diverse populations.
Follow detailed instructions with accuracy and consistency.
Ability to immediately train for the nursing entrance exam
Ability to obtain credentialing for proctoring certain tests.
