Registered Nurse

Duration: 3 months to long term

Shift: 6:30 AM – 07:30 PM

Job Summary:

• As the Nurse, will be responsible for directing and coordinating patient care and clinical supervision of support staff.
• Assess patient health problems and needs, develop, and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records.

Job Responsibilities:

• Prioritize and organize daily patient care activities to ensure safe and efficient unit operations.
• Assign patient care responsibilities and collaborate with clinical staff to develop and implement treatment plans.
• Perform ongoing physical and psychosocial assessments from admission through discharge and maintain accurate documentation.
• Coordinate workflow among support staff and communicate patient care concerns to unit supervisors.
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with facility policies, procedures, and provider orders.
• Develop and update individualized nursing care plans based on patient needs and changes in condition.
• Supervise support staff and complete medication administration monitoring and clinical observation documentation.
• Maintain accurate nursing notes, transfer forms, and other required patient records.
• Educate patients and families regarding medications, procedures, treatment plans, and care goals.
• Respond promptly to emergencies and manage patients experiencing agitation or behavioral concerns.
• Provide orientation, guidance, and ongoing support to newly assigned unit staff.
• Ensure compliance with patient safety, infection prevention, and facility standards

Requirements:

• Registered Nurse License
• BLS/CPR Certification
