Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough inspections of raw materials, in-process components, and finished products using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Ensure all products meet specified standards by performing detailed quality inspections aligned with ISO 13485, ISO 9001, FDA regulations, and other relevant quality systems.
- Document inspection results accurately through data collection and maintain comprehensive records for traceability and audit purposes.
- Perform quality audits across manufacturing processes to identify deviations from established protocols like CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) and HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point).
- Collaborate with manufacturing teams to address quality issues promptly, providing feedback for corrective actions and process improvements.
- Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify compliance with ISO standards and regulatory requirements.
- Utilize advanced measurement tools such as vision inspection systems, coordinate measuring machines, calipers, micrometers, and other precision instruments to ensure product specifications are met consistently.
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of quality control principles within manufacturing environments, including QA/QC procedures.
- Proficiency in operating precision measuring instruments like calipers, micrometers, vision inspection systems, and coordinate measuring machines.
- Familiarity with industry standards such as ISO 13485 (medical devices), ISO 9001 (quality management), FDA regulations, HACCP, CGMP, and related compliance frameworks.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret measurement data accurately and identify root causes of quality issues.
- Experience conducting quality audits and implementing corrective actions to enhance product integrity.
- Ability to collect data systematically and maintain detailed documentation for compliance purposes.
