We are looking for a motivated, Assistant Janitorial Supervisor to support our operations and lead by example. Key Responsibilities
- Team Support: Assist in supervising staff to ensure all cleaning tasks—including bathrooms, dusting, and trash removal—are completed to a high standard.
- Hands-on Leadership: Lead by example by performing cleaning duties such as mopping, vacuuming, and wiping down desks alongside the crew when needed.
- Inventory & Stocking: Ensure all cleaning areas and supply closets are properly stocked and organized.
- Quality Assurance: Walk through sites to confirm that rooms are organized and facilities are "fresh" for clients.
- Communication: Use professional "phone etiquette" to take messages or handle minor customer inquiries when the primary supervisor is unavailable.
Required Skills & Experience
- Assistant Leadership: Previous experience in an "Assistant Manager" or "Lead" role is highly preferred.
- Cleaning Expertise: Strong background in custodial or commercial cleaning services.
- Organizational Skills: Must have strong "time management" and "organizational skills" to keep the team on schedule.
- Problem Solving: Ability to assist with "customer complaint resolution" and maintain a positive environment.
- Tech Savvy: Basic "computer literacy" and "Microsoft Office" skills for daily reporting.
Qualifications
