University of Miami College of Engineering Faculty Search Spring 2026 The Department of Industrial & Systems Engineering invites applications for a tenured/tenure-track position at the assistant or associate levels starting in Spring 2026. Preference will be given to individuals with productive and active research experience in data analytics, machine learning, statistics, operations research, advanced manufacturing, and human-machine interfaces (HMI). We welcome applicants with a commitment to impactful research, teaching excellence, and advancing diversity and inclusion within the department. The successful candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering or closely related disciplines and demonstrated excellence in research, teaching, and service with a commitment to mentoring students and fostering an inclusive academic environment. The selected candidate will be expected to teach classes at the undergraduate and graduate level. Senior faculty will be expected to play a leadership role within their department and promote interdisciplinary research throughout the University in their respected fields.
