Position
The Client Service Vice President will play a critical role in supporting Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) client relationships while serving as a key liaison between Advisors, Operations, Trust Services, Family Office teams, custodians, and clients.
This individual will be responsible for overseeing client onboarding, account administration, documentation management, cash movement activities, billing coordination, and operational support across a diverse client base. The position requires exceptional attention to detail, strong relationship management skills, and the ability to navigate complex client situations with professionalism and discretion.
In addition to managing day-to-day client service responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to process improvement initiatives, mentor junior team members, and help drive a culture of service excellence throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
- Partner with Client Service and Advisory teams to support Ultra High Net Worth client relationships.
- Maintain responsibility for assigned client relationships, ensuring accuracy of client data, documentation, and account records.
- Coordinate with custodians and internal stakeholders to ensure requests are processed accurately and efficiently.
- Participate in process improvement and operational efficiency initiatives.
- Support onboarding and implementation of new client relationships.
- Collaborate with Trust, Family Office, Operations, and Investment teams to deliver a seamless client experience.
- Prepare account opening documentation, subscription agreements, contracts, and related client paperwork.
- Manage account openings and closings, including brokerage accounts and separately managed accounts.
- Facilitate cash and security movements, including wires, ACH transactions, journals, checks, and fee processing.
- Review and coordinate client billing to ensure accuracy and timely collection of management fees.
- Coordinate delivery of tax documents and other client reporting requirements.
- Support reporting initiatives and special projects for senior leadership.
- Serve as a change champion as new technologies and workflows are implemented.
- Act as a regional resource, sharing best practices and fostering collaboration across teams.
- Assist with recruiting, onboarding, and training efforts as the organization grows.
- Mentor and develop junior team members while providing guidance on complex client situations.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 years of experience within financial services.
- Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Business, Economics, or related field preferred.
- Prior experience supporting Ultra High Net Worth (UHNW) clients strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of wealth management operations, client service, and account administration.
- Spanish is highly preferred.
