The Senior Analyst will be responsible for supporting the development of organizational strategies, the financial management and budgeting, and the procurement and contracting actions of an Integrated Product Team (IPT) and its strategic initiatives. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong analytical skills who can work collaboratively across cross-functional teams to ensure program objectives are met and aligned with organizational goals. The Senior Analyst will play a critical role in supporting long-term program success by providing strategic insights and ensuring effective planning and execution. This is a full-time, on-site position located at Naval Air Station Patuxent River.
Essential Job Functions
- Support the development, submission, execution, and sustainment of the Integrated Product Team
- Ensure IPT activities comply with organizational, DoD, and governmental requirements
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to gather inputs, validate data, and ensure accuracy and completeness
- Track, analyze, and report IPT performance and execution data
- Conduct strategic and programmatic analysis to support leadership decision-making
- Develop and present analytical products, briefings, and recommendations to senior leadership
- Identify and assess program risks and opportunities, providing actionable mitigation recommendations
- Build and maintain effective working relationships with internal teams, partners, and government stakeholders
- Communicate program status, risks, and opportunities clearly and effectively
- Support and facilitate meetings, working groups, and presentations
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and increased efficiency
- Monitor industry best practices, emerging trends, and regulatory changes impacting the program
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Strategic Management, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 7–10 years of experience in strategic planning, program management, or a related role, preferably in a government or defense contractor environment
- Demonstrated experience supporting Integrated Product Team (IPT) development and execution
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams and diverse stakeholder groups
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Knowledge of government contracting processes and regulations along with Multi-Level Security (MLS) environments preferred
- Must possess an active Top Secret (TS) clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility
