Project/Property Manager

Now Hiring: Field Operations & Project/Property Manager – Houston / Pasadena / Alvin

I’m looking for a reliable, DETAILED‑oriented person that is great at TIME and TASK management, and able to be independent in their duties to help manage several apartment properties and full renovation projects across Houston, Pasadena, and Alvin. We currently manage around 60 units and are actively growing to a few hundred units over the next few years, so there are real growth opportunities for the right person.

What you’ll be doing:

• Checking on construction and renovation projects and reporting progress

• Managing contractors on renovation jobs to make sure work is done on time and to quality standards

• Holding crews accountable to scope, timelines, and cleanliness on site

• Picking up and delivering materials to job sites

• Handling basic handyman/maintenance tasks when needed(changing door knobs, cleaning, small unit touch‑ups, installing ring cameras, etc.)

• Working with our crew during downtime on typical property maintenance

• Managing maintenance requests from tenants through our management software

• Coordinating and hiring vendors for repairs

• Misc items - Posting eviction/late notices on tenant doors when required, Making copies of keys, ensuring tenants are abiding by lease (outside is clean, no smoking, etc), setting up basic WiFi, posting laundry rules.

• Regularly checking on multiple properties

• Sending daily/weekly updates with photos and notes through the app

Schedule & Availability:

• Hours: Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Must be on call for emergency calls on weekends (plumbing backups, AC issues, urgent repairs, lost keys, etc.)

Requirements:

• Truck in good working condition

• Able to pull a trailer when necessary

• Moderate construction/renovation knowledge and maintenance skills

• Comfortable talking with contractors and tenants, and giving clear direction

• Great communication skills (phone, text, and written)

• Comfortable using apps/management software on your phone

• Bilingual: English and Spanish

• Reliable, self‑motivated, and trustworthy

• Valid driver’s license and insurance

Pay & Growth:

• Starting pay: $18–$25/hr depending on experience

• Gas money provided for work‑related driving

• Full‑time role with strong growth opportunities as we scale from ~60 units to a few hundred units in the coming years
