Location: Remote (Eastern Standard Time)
Start Date: 12/01/2025
Schedule:
- Monday – Friday: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM EST
- Saturday: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM EST
Project Overview:
Provide remote enrollment support for the New York Medicaid CHOICE Project. Educate clients on managed care, assist with health plan selection, and deliver excellent customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Respond to enrollment service calls and provide accurate information
- Assist clients with choosing and enrolling in health plans
- Review enrollment/disenrollment forms for completeness and accuracy
- Escalate issues to the Central Operations Supervisor as needed
- Perform managed care education and enrollment services when required
- Some Saturday work required
- Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements:
- Must be fluent in Spanish (read, write, speak)
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Strong computer and typing skills
- Ability to quickly learn new programs
- Reliable and punctual with a can-do attitude
- Prior customer service experience, preferably in call centers or human services (2 years preferred)
Education: High school diploma or equivalent required
Technical Requirements (BYOD):
- Computer or laptop: Windows 10 or MacOS Catalina (10.15), Big Sur (11), Monterey (up to 12.5) or newer
- Wired USB headset with microphone and noise suppression (Bluetooth not allowed)
- High-speed internet: 25 Mbps download (single user), 50 Mbps (shared), 5 Mbps upload (10 Mbps preferred)
- Mobile hotspots not allowed as primary internet
- Chromebooks not permitted
