Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced worker to work construction projects from start to finish. The ideal candidate will possess a background in construction management and demonstrate expertise in various trades, such as drywall, plumbing, framing etc, ensuring that all work is completed to the highest standards. Our company does everything from painting to entire additions/new builds.
Duties
- Working tasks, alone, or alongside others, to complete tasks in a timely and quality manor.
- Manage time effectively to ensure project efficiency.
- Perform hands-on tasks as needed, including frame carpentry, concrete finishing, door hanging, caulking, and flooring installation, drywall, plumbing.
- Listen to directions on how to complete projects in a timely manor.
- Occasionally pick up supplies and bring them to jobsites.
- Lifting and carrying constuction materials that will exceed 50pounds from store/truck/ into jobsites with crew.
- Show up in a timely manor and work until end of day.
- Must have own transportation.
- Have a set of your own basic tools.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction with a solid understanding of various building trades.
- Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with finishing work is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of framing carpentry methods and practices.
- Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail to ensure quality workmanship.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, subcontractors, and team members.
This position is not set hours, it will depend on the job. If hired you will be hired on a trial basis, with trial pay, final pay will be based on experience, and work quality shown. This is an independent contractor position and you will recieve a 1099.
