Duties

• Prepare a variety of baked goods, pastries, and confections with precision and flair, ensuring each item is visually appealing and delicious
• Decorate cakes and desserts using professional cake decorating techniques, including piping, fondant work, and intricate designs
• Package finished products carefully to maintain freshness, quality, and presentation during storage and delivery
• Assist in food production activities, including mixing, baking, assembling, and finishing products according to recipes and specifications
• Maintain strict food safety standards by adhering to proper food handling procedures and sanitation protocols
• Support kitchen operations by organizing ingredients, tools, and supplies for efficient workflow
• Provide excellent customer service by engaging with clients’ special requests or dietary needs when applicable

Experience

• Proven experience in cake decorating, baking, or pastry arts within a food production or restaurant environment
• Strong skills in food handling, safety regulations, and kitchen hygiene practices
• Hands-on experience with food preparation techniques across the food industry spectrum
• Knowledge of culinary principles related to baking, cooking, and catering services
• Familiarity with knife skills for precise cutting and ingredient prep
• Previous roles involving food industry standards for quality control and presentation excellence
• Experience working in fast-paced restaurant or catering settings is highly desirable
