Duties

• Help with food handling, packaging finished products securely for retail or catering purposes
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen workspace to uphold food safety regulations
• Aid in food production processes, including measuring ingredients, mixing batters, and assembling products
• Contribute to food preparation activities for catering events or restaurant service, ensuring timely delivery
• Follow proper knife skills techniques during ingredient prep and ensure all culinary tasks adhere to safety protocols

Skills

• Proven experience in cake decorating and pastry work that demonstrates creativity and precision
• Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a commercial kitchen environment
• Familiarity with food industry equipment such as mixers, ovens, knives, and packaging tools
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients or team members when needed
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards
• Basic culinary experience with cooking, baking, and food preparation techniques
