Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of beverages including cocktails, beer, wine, and non-alcoholic options with precision and flair
- Engage with guests to understand their preferences and recommend drinks or menu items accordingly
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process orders accurately and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy using POS systems
- Develop beverage recipes and contribute to menu updates to keep offerings fresh and exciting
- Assist with food service when needed, including serving meals during events or banquets
- Manage time effectively during busy shifts to ensure prompt service and customer satisfaction
- Support bar management with stock replenishment, inventory tracking, and ordering supplies
Qualifications
- Proven experience in bartending or food service roles, preferably in fine dining or hospitality environments
- Strong knowledge of beverage recipes, cocktail mixing techniques, wine varieties, and craft beer styles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for order processing and sales tracking
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting using effective time management skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and order calculations
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Experience with catering or banquet service is a plus but not required
