Title: APS-3: GCSS-Army Technical Instructor/Course Developer Belong, Connect, Grow, with KBR! Program Summary KBR maintains and manages Army prepositioned stocks at the Army Field Support Battalion - Charleston (AFSBn-CHS) land site to include all logistics and maintenance operations. The KBR APS-3 Program is managed and executed at Goose Creek in support of the Army’s power projection doctrine and resources. The contract provides maintenance of APS-3 stocks (Class II, IIIP, IV, VII, IX) to ensure that unit sets are configured and maintained at optimal readiness. KBR also provides maintenance services and logistical support for other Army programs, IAW individual scope of work contract requirements. Job Summary The GCSS-Army Technical Instructor/Course Developer role requires a deep understanding of Warehouse and Unit Supply Operations (Skill Level: 92A Automated Logistics Specialist 20-30 levels or equivalent). This role manages and escalates GCSS-Army incident reports to the Service Desk, ensuring timely resolution. Additionally, this position involves assisting with the development and delivery of training in both classroom and practical settings for TUCs 930 and 960 areas. The ideal candidate must be proficient in various GCSS-Army transactions, including Excess and Reparable Management, Plant 2000/2001 MRP, and BI Launch Pad reporting. Knowledge of GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC) and user roles/system access, and practical skills in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel) are preferred. This position reports directly to the Logistic Information System Instructor/Training Manager. GCSS-Army is a Systems, Applications, Products in Data Processing (SAP). This is the U.S. Army primary system to manage maintenance, supply, and property management. Roles and Responsibilities Managing and escalating GCSS-Army incident reports to the Service Desk. Training contractor personnel that perform daily GCSS-Army functions for the APS-3 team and special projects in TUC 930 and 960. Providing troubleshooting assistance for daily critical warehouse processes. Developing job aids that support work instructions for SSA/warehouse operations. Formulate teaching outlines and determine instructional methods and utilizing knowledge of specified training needs and effectiveness. Perform all other position related duties as assigned or requested to include providing reports related to training and GCSS-Army user report. Basic Qualifications High School diploma required Must Possess a valid State Motor Vehicle Operator License. Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be able to obtain and maintain local base access. Must be able to obtain and maintain a favorable Common Access Card (CAC) issuance. Physical Requirements: Must be able to stand - between 5 to 6 hours per day. Must be able to walk - between 3 to 4 hours per day. Must be able to Lift - up to 35 lbs. – 50 lbs. periodically. Must be able to squat, kneel, bend, reach and climb periodically. Must be able to work outside and inside in non-climate-controlled environments. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in related field preferred, but not required. Preferred experience as a DoD contractor, GSA employee, or uniformed military with the ability to review and apply technical specifications and requirements. Strong written and oral communication. Strong working knowledge of Supply Support Activity (SSA) core processes, Excess and Reparable Management, and Plant 2000/2001 Material Requirements Planning (MRP). Familiarity with supply reports in Business Intelligence (BI) Launch Pad. Proficiency in GCSS-Army process troubleshooting and understanding the functional flow of customer requirements and material procurement. Knowledge of the GCSS-Army Training and Certification (GTRAC) system and associated personnel roles. Skill in using Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
