Step behind the bar at one of Connecticut’s most historic and beloved dining destinations. The 1754 House is seeking a passionate, professional Bartender to join our hospitality-driven team. If you love crafting cocktails, connecting with guests, and working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment, we’d love to meet you.
What You’ll Do:
- Create classic and signature cocktails with precision and personality
- Provide warm, engaging service to guests at the bar and throughout the dining room
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tools, and stock
- Upsell beverages and enhance guest experiences through product knowledge and presentation
- Assist with opening/closing duties and inventory management
- Work collaboratively with servers, managers, and kitchen staff
What We’re Looking For:
- 1 years of bartending experience in a high-volume or upscale restaurant setting
- Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, beer, and cocktail technique
- Excellent communication and guest service skills
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
- A positive attitude, reliability, and a team-first mentality
- Evening, weekend, and holiday availability is required
