Director - Supply Chain Market Operations

Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference. Job Summary Directs Supply Chain activities and operations across hospitals, clinics, and physician practices in a designated market. Partners with facility executive leaders and oversees all Supply Chain Operations, including Linen, Asset Management, and Courier functions. Serves as the trusted market executive partner, escalating issues needing attention to Supply Chain executive leadership. Provides strategic leadership for Supply Chain Departments, managing daily operations, budgeted costs, revenue, and units of service for all facilities within the market. Organizes and directs the distribution activities for supplies, linen, materials, asset management, receiving, and courier services. Partners with Prisma Health leadership to identify and implement cost reduction opportunities in equipment, supplies, and services. Participates in the development of budgets, programs, policies, and plans as a member of the Supply Chain leadership team. Collaborates with other departments to identify and meet patient/customer needs, ensuring quality service delivery. Establishes and enforces system and departmental policies, procedures, safety, environmental, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance. Utilizes Process Improvement methodologies to analyze and enhance workflow and processes, meeting departmental needs efficiently. Create and report performance and productivity measures for all areas of facility Supply Chain Operations. Participates in organization’s committees, make presentations, and represent Supply Chain on boards, commissions, and associations as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. Supervisory/Management Responsibility Job as direct and/or indirect supervision of team members that may include final budget authority, hire/termination authority, performance appraisal responsibility and disciplinary authority. Job will be considered a member of management staff at Prisma Health or affiliate and will have direct reports. Minimum Requirements Education - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, or related field of study. Experience - Eight (8) in healthcare materials management at director level or higher. Supervisory/management experience. In Lieu Of In lieu of education and experience noted above, an equivalent combination of work/academic experience may be considered (i.e., twelve years of related experience OR Associate degree and ten years of related experience OR Master’s degree and six years of related work experience). Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses NA Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Strong leadership, facilitation, and communication skills to motivate and lead teams effectively. Proven ability to build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders. Demonstrated business acumen with the ability to balance organizational and business considerations to solve complex problems. Effective verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to summarize information and present it to diverse audiences. Strong attention to detail and outstanding analytical skills. Proven ability to anticipate and respond proactively in a dynamic environment. Ability to establish and articulate strategic priorities and objectives, and manage multiple projects and shifting priorities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and comprehensive knowledge of ERP software capabilities.
