About the Role
Reporting to the Director of Programming and Education, the Program Research Analyst (PRA) supports the operational and analytical backbone of our educational programming. This role is responsible for managing and auditing program data, supporting learning requirement tracking, and strengthening the vetting process for partner organizations and adjunct faculty to ensure alignment with 1440's learning pillars and exempt status requirements.
This is a highly analytical role requiring strong technical skills across property management systems (PMS), Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, Oracle databases, and advanced Excel tools. The PRA plays a critical role in transforming data into actionable insights that support program quality, compliance, and strategic planning.
What You'll Do
Data & Systems Management
Develop, maintain, and audit reports across PMS, Delphi, and Oracle systems
Design and run complex database queries to support program analysis and forecasting
Utilize advanced Excel tools (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, macros) to analyze trends and produce dashboards
Monitor and ensure data accuracy across all programming and reporting systems
Support system upgrades and troubleshoot data or platform issues
Program & Operational Support
Gather and evaluate learning and faculty requirements to support exempt status and learning pillar alignment
Prepare program documentation including turnovers, program briefs, activity reporting, site visit alerts, and communiqués
Support strategic planning, forecasting, goal tracking, and production reporting
Collaborate closely with all teams
Provide end-user training and technical support as needed
Process Improvement & Collaboration
Identify opportunities for automation and workflow improvements
Translate stakeholder needs into actionable reporting and system solutions
Participate in program, events, operations, and strategy meetings
What We're Looking For
Education & Experience
Required: High school diploma or GED
Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related field
Preferred: 3 years in a business analyst or data-focused role, ideally in hospitality, nonprofit, service, or education environments
Technical Skills
Strong experience with PMS systems, Delphi.fdc, Salesforce, and Oracle databases
Advanced Excel proficiency (including formulas, pivot tables, lookups, macros)
Strong data validation, auditing, and reporting skills

Work Location & Schedule Expectations
This position primarily performs duties remotely; however, travel to and work on campus will be required as business needs dictate, at the discretion of senior management. On-site presence may be necessary to support program operations, meetings, system coordination, or special projects.
Candidates must be able to work flexibly in support of program schedules and operational demands.
Physical & Work Environment
This role may require occasional standing, walking, lifting (up to 50 lbs), and working in both office and operational environments, including occasional exposure to outdoor conditions and moderate noise levels. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
