The Housekeeping House Person / Public Attendant plays a key role in creating a welcoming, clean, and comfortable environment for our guests. Reporting to the Senior Operations Manager, this role ensures public areas are spotless, supply rooms are organized and stocked, and Housekeepers are supported in preparing guest rooms.
This is a guest-facing position that requires professionalism, warmth, and a focus on detail to ensure that every visitor to 1440 experiences Deep Hospitality from the heart.

What You'll Do
Guest Spaces & Public Areas
- Clean and maintain guest-facing spaces including restrooms, classrooms, fitness center, and meeting rooms.
- Ensure public areas are tidy, well-stocked, and sanitized, including high-touch surfaces like doors and elevators.
- Respond politely and warmly to guest needs; promptly escalate concerns when necessary.
- Assist Housekeepers by preparing rooms for full cleaning and collecting room assignment boards as needed.
- Maintain and stock back-of-house supply closets and linen rooms to specifications.
- Support room cleaning and turnover as assigned.
- Attend trainings and staff meetings; follow all policies, safety, and emergency procedures.
- Work independently while contributing to a team committed to creating a memorable guest experience.
- Assist with projects and tasks across campus to support overall operations.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and guest-service focus.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Flexibility to support varying schedules and tasks.
- Physical ability to meet the requirements of the role (standing, walking, bending, lifting, etc.).
