Collaborating with designers, we engineer, build and install exhibitions that include custom built components, scenic environments, graphics, audiovisual systems and interactives. The 1220 Exhibits Graphic Technician is responsible for implementing, producing and verifying all finish instructions for graphic components.
Responsibilities
- Operates and maintains digital flatbed and roll printing equipment. This role requires attention to detail, technical aptitude for operating complex machinery, the ability to troubleshoot issues, and strong communication and collaboration skills to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
- Operating and maintaining the vinyl plotter, cutting and weeding vinyl, applying transfer tape, and potentially installing the finished product on site
- Performs routine maintenance, cleans equipment, and troubleshoots issues to prevent costly material loss and ensure continuous operation.
- Packages, seals, wraps, and labels finished products for delivery to customers.
- Other duties as assigned.

- Be able to perform all of the above listed duties as well as have the flexibility to take on additional tasks as needed.

- Be able to work additional, non-regular hours as needed.
Qualifications
- An art related degree or 3-5 years of experience in the graphics field.
- Strong attention to the smallest of details.
- A keen eye for details and flaws.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. This position demands accountability and 100% ownership of each graphics project assigned.
- Understand the requirements for large format printing, mounting, and finishing.
- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

Reports to:
This position reports directly to the Graphics Production Manager.
No direct supervisory responsibilities.
