Clean Tech is seeking a highly skilled Fabricator who takes pride in precision welds, clean layouts, and quality workmanship at our recycling facility in Dundee, MI. This role is ideal for a fabricator who enjoys complex builds, tight tolerances, and problem-solving in an industrial environment. Direct Hire / Long-Term Stability Premium Pay – $28/hr depending on experience Bonuses – $1,500 referral bonuses perfect attendance bonuses Overtime – Time and a half over 40 hours; Double time Sundays What You’ll Be Doing Perform maintenance for machinery & mechanical equipment used in the plastic recycling process to assure uninterrupted & optimal operations Perform high-quality welding on metal materials of all types Fabricate custom components, fixtures, frames, guards, and process equipment from prints or field measurements Execute clean, cosmetic, and structural TIG welds meeting tight tolerances Independently layout, fit, and fabricate parts with minimal supervision Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings Troubleshoot and improve existing equipment through custom fabrication solutions Collaborate with maintenance and operations teams to support production efficiency Maintain a professional, organized, and safety-first fabrication environment What We’re Looking For Proven experience producing precision, cosmetic, and structural welds Strong fabrication background: layout, fitting, measuring, and finishing Ability to read and build from detailed blueprints and schematics High mechanical aptitude and understanding of industrial fabrication processes Experience with MIG, Stick & TIG welding Experience working with heavy industrial equipment and machinery Self-motivated, detail-oriented craftsman who values quality over speed Clean Tech is an Equal Opportunity Employer In order to process your job application, Clean Tech Recycling collects and stores the personal information that you submit via this website.
